Spanning nearly four decades, Circle & Square Auto Care has been serving Jefferson County with high quality automotive service and repair. Alex Fowler founded Circle & Square in 1977 at the foot of Cape George. Eleven years later he sold the business to Reto and Jana Filli. The Fillis built the up business over the next decade, eventually relocating to Port Hadlock where they built a state of the art, environmentally friendly service facility. In 2014, the Fillis sold Circle & Square to Lloy Drinkard and his wife Susan Stewart. |
| Lloy attended the University of Washington where he graduated with honors—a BS in Psychology and minor in Pre-Med. Starting with his first car, a 1958 Triumph TR3, Lloy found an enjoyment in working with automobiles, which expanded from a hobby and has continued for over forty years. He put himself through college working as a technician on air-cooled Volkswagens, in time expanding his knowledge base to include expertise on European and Asian automobiles. He previously owned and operated Europa Foreign Car Care in Seattle for twenty years. |  |

Susan graduated from Western Washington University with a teaching degree and taught for several years before raising a family. She raised and put three children through college. For ten years Susan enjoyed a career in real estate in the Seattle area. Since then she has taught in the Seattle school district and following her marriage to Lloy and move to Jefferson County in 2009, has taught in the Kitsap and Jefferson County school districts. A lifelong advocate for children, Susan worked for Catholic Community Services for two and a half years, working with at risk children in the Foster Care Program. She continues to teach in the Port Townsend School District during the school year as well as fulfilling her duties at Circle & Square Auto Care. Lloy and Susan are passionate about carrying on the traditions established by the Fillis of providing an environmentally responsible, dealership alternative to automotive service and repair. |
