Reto
and Jana Filli, owners
Born a Daubenberger,
Jana Filli's roots are deeply entwined with many of the old family
names of Port Townsend, including Sophie, DeLeo and Caldwell.
It was her brother,
Joe, who first brought his sailing buddy, Swiss-born Reto Filli,
to this part of the world. Joe introduced Reto to his sister, Jana,
and the rest, shall we say, is far too mushy for a business Web
site.
In 1988, Reto and
Jana bought Circle & Square from Alex Fowler.
They are
graduates of the Automotive Management Institute. Both are active
members in the ASA-WA.
Reto
is an Automotive Service Excellence-certified Master Technician,
who is involved in numerous environmental, legislative and civic
activities. He's a member of the Port Hadlock Chamber of Commerce.
A former treasurer and board member, Reto remains active in the
Rotary Club of Port Townsend. He is a charter member of the Service
Technicians Society and a past-president of ASA Olympic.
Jana
is on the board of directors of the East Jefferson County Habitat
for Humanity. She is the co-chair for Habitat's Partner Committee
and the treasurer for ASA Washington Assets. Jana was also asked
to judge for the 2002 Governor's Award for Polution Prevention and
Sustainable Practices the award she and Reto won in 2001.
