Circle
& Square earns Governor's Award
for Pollution Prevention and Sustainable Practices

Cristy Pacheco,
Governor Gary Locke, Jana and Reto Filli.
When the Washington
State Department of Ecology seeks nominations for its Governor's
Award, it looks for businesses that are setting high standards
in pollution prevention and sustainable practices.
Three goals of
the DOE are to prevent pollution, clean up pollution, and support
sustainable communities and natural resource. It defines sustainable
as "meeting the needs of the present without compromising the
ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
Caring for the
environment has long been important to Reto and Jana Filli
