Goodbye "mechanic" Hello "technician"

At Circle & Square, we insist that all of our technicians be certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

Before ASE was established, in 1972, the consumer had no way of knowing just how competent — or not — a shop's "mechanics" were.

ASE's mission is to "improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through testing and certification of repair and service professionals".

ASE certification requires a technician to pass rigid testing, after providing proof of two years of relevant work experience. Certification must be renewed every five years.

ASE certification is a valuable yardstick by which to measure the knowledge and skills of our employees — and our commitment to quality automotive service.
